God Made Me

God Made Me || Ephesians 2:10 || Lasuria Pope
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) says, “For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

One could easily admit that we are living in a scary season right now. However, I believe that we are being challenged by GOD. I believe that He is challenging us to live in Christ Jesus as He designed. He is challenging us to perform the good work required in our daily Christian lives. Then, as God prepared beforehand, we will be able to walk in the purpose that He has set for each of our lives.

Ask yourselves, what does it mean to live in Christ Jesus? I believe it to mean that we are alive because of Him. We have been saved because GOD sent His only son, Christ Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. Before that we were dead in our sins. Therefore, we have been saved because of God's grace.

Our daily lives require us to perform the “good works” of God through Christ Jesus. In the scripture, God is reminding us to live in the ways of Jesus Christ. We are expected to show love and compassion to our fellow man, even when they may not agree. It is expected of us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ that we may lead others to God. Our Christian lives should be evidence to others that we are alive because of God's mercy.

God made each of us. He has a purpose for each of our lives. I believe that part of that purpose is to have a personal relationship with Him thru Jesus Christ. To know Jesus Christ is to know God. For that, our faith in God keeps us alive. However, I do believe that He wants us to have eternal life with Him.

Yes, times are scary right now. But I believe that GOD SAVED US as proof of his grace. GOD CREATED US in Jesus Christ so that our good works will lead others to Him. Although we may each have a different purpose in this life, I believe that GOD'S PURPOSE ultimately is for us to spend eternity with Him.

Very well said and it is refreshing to see someone as young as you are so deep into the words of God. Continue to look to God for all your needs because He can and will supply them. What a blessing you are, continue to be used by God.
