God Made Me

God Made Me  ||  Psalm 139: 13-16  ||  By Deacon Pacia Love

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and say, “Wow, I look Good!” I mean, it's amazing how much you can feel good when you put on a new dress or new suit and watch your swag. Sometimes, I look at my face and see all my features are so much like my mom.
As the song say, "I Get It from My Mama" and yes God Made Me.

This week’s prayer focus: Grateful for who we are, and how God made us. In the scripture, David is painting the image of God beginning with a picture of us in mind long before we existed. He carefully places every part of our features and our being and formed us in our mother's womb so that the result is exactly what God pictured.

In fact, God had a plan and a purpose for David and formed him in his mother's womb demonstrates that we as babies are known by God as the person He created. So, we are God's children from our mother's womb. As David said in verse 14: "I will give thanks unto thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: wonderful are thy works and that my soul knoweth right well.”

We can read David's words as saying God, our creator of the universe made us with reverence and wonder! God had already begun to form us, and He skillfully wrought us in the depths of the earth, a place beyond any human presence or understanding. It gives special value to every human life knowing that every person was created with such thought.

I can truly say God Made Me. "I Look Fly, I Look Good Touch my Swag, wish you could I Look Fly (yeah) I look Good!"

Prayer: Dear Mighty, Loving God. Thank you for creating me for this I know you love me unconditionally. I am truly grateful for who I am your creation. In Jesus name Amen.
