Be Fruitful

Be Fruitful  ||  Mark 11: 20-24  || Rev. Deborah Rozier

In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” 22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

The concept of being "fruitful" is a common theme throughout the Bible. It is a call to action for all believers in Christ to live a life that produces good works and bears fruit for the glory of God. But what does it mean to be "fruitful"? Let's explore this idea further.

So, to be fruitful means to live a life that produces good works and reflects the character of Christ. It means remaining connected to Him and allowing Him to work through us to accomplish His purposes.

Here are Six Steps to Be Fruitful in Living:

  • Receive, believe, achieve.
Hear the Word of God (daily), believe it, and then act on it.
  • Move beyond the past.
Don't allow past attempts, failures, or fears to stop you from moving forward.
  • Goal setter, goalkeeper.
  • Know Your Why.
  • Trust God with the outcome.
  • Make the move.

In conclusion, being fruitful is a call to action for all believers in Christ. It means living a life that produces good works and reflects the character of Christ. It means remaining connected to Him and allowing Him to work through us to accomplish His purposes. Let us strive to live lives that bear much fruit for the glory of God.

Prayer:
Let there be fruitfulness in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let my fruits begin to multiply, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the yokes of hard labor over the body of Christ, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the mockers of God, be put to shame, in Jesus’ name I pray, amen, amen and amen.
