Guide Me

Guide Me  ||  Psalm 143: 10-12  ||  Deacon Pacia Love

Life is full of crossroads. There are so many choices along the way. The more we seek God, the closer He is to us, the more we will know our purpose to do according to His will.
Romans 12:2 states, "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

In this week's Lenten Devotional scriptures, we find David is going through distress and I too sometimes feel like distress is often translates into the deep darkness that floods into our hearts. David acknowledges his dependence upon God and petition the Lord for direction and ask God to guide him onto level ground, where he may walk without fear or danger.

Hey, I get it Life sometimes can be overwhelming! What we should do confess knowledge of God's will and be obedient to his word, have the sufficient grace to weather the most raging storms. God's Grace is sufficient, and He is faithful. Like David, we all need guidance from the Lord. We must always call out to Him in times of trouble, and acknowledge the Lord in All things, knowing that He will teach us His will and lead, and guide us in the path of perfect peace.

Prayer: Dear Gracious God, please help me to have faith in you and to do your will. You are a loving, and faithful God. Guide me that I may say and do all that is pleasing to you.
In Jesus name Amen.
