The Foundation of Grace and Mercy
The Foundation of Grace and Mercy
Today, let's reflect on the importance of having a strong foundation in our lives and in our church. Just like a pot of gumbo needs the right roux to be flavorful, our lives need the right foundation to be meaningful. Grace and mercy are the key ingredients that make our foundation strong. When we embrace these virtues, we create an environment where love and compassion can flourish. Remember, 'Good roux in the church is grace and mercy.'
Verse: 2 Kings 4:38-41
Question: How can you incorporate more grace and mercy into your daily interactions with others?
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy that forms the foundation of our lives. Help us to build our lives and our church on these virtues, so that we may reflect your love and compassion to others. Amen.
